Immediately following this year’s Lighted Holiday parade in downtown Burlington (Nov. 30th), attendees are invited to gather in the parking lot of the Memorial Auditorium for Burlington Riverfront Entertainment’s first annual lighting of the Christmas tree ceremony.

The REAL tree will stand 25 ft. tall directly in front of the Memorial Auditorium on the apron and will be visible from Jefferson St. and the Great River Bridge.

Lighted snowflakes designed and created by Fling Cliffs Manufacturing Corporation will illuminate the riverfront along the walkway, each sponsored by a local business/organization.  Flint Cliffs will be named on the giant 10ft tall snowflakes that will hang from the speaker bays just south of the Port of Burlington.

Mayor Shane McCampbell will have the honors of lighting the tree followed by live music from David Kroll.  Attendees are asked to bring a donation of a nonperishable food item(s) to benefit various organizations who help feed families in need.
